Senior Product Designer.

Be the first designer in, and own how Keith feels to use across every channel.

Design  /  London Victoria, hybrid  /  Permanent, full time

01. About the role

We're looking for our first Product Designer to own how Keith feels to use.

Buying a house is the biggest financial decision most people ever make, and the experience of it is miserable - opaque, slow, and written in a language nobody outside the profession understands. Your job is to fix that.

This isn't a screens-only role. Keith reaches clients through email, a voice agent, text, web and mobile, and most of the experience happens in the gaps between them. You'll design the whole thing - what gets said, when, through which channel, and what the person is supposed to do next.

You'll also build. We expect you to ship real frontend code using agentic coding tools, leaning on our engineers for anything genuinely complex. Design that stops at a Figma file is too slow for where we are.

02. You will

  • Help architect the end-to-end client experience across every channel we use - email, voice agent, text, web and mobile - and make them feel like one product rather than five
  • Turn complicated legal process into something a first-time buyer can understand without being patronised
  • Design behaviour, not just interfaces - what triggers a message, what happens when someone goes quiet, what the right default is, where we should ask rather than assume
  • Work within fixed legal and regulatory constraints. Some things we have to do, in a specific way, because the law says so. Your job is to find the best experience inside those constraints, not to wish them away
  • Help write product copy, emails, voice scripts, error states. Tone is a huge part of the Keith brand and it lives in the words
  • Build and ship frontend code using agentic coding harnesses, working with engineering on anything that needs deeper changes
  • Implement Keith's design system and how the brand shows up in product - components, patterns, tone, consistency across surfaces
  • Talk to clients and conveyancers constantly. Sit in on calls, watch real transactions, and bring back what's actually going wrong rather than what we assume is

03. About you

  • Substantial experience designing complex, end-to-end product experiences - ideally somewhere the stakes were high and the subject matter was hard
  • You think in systems and behaviours, not screens. You can explain why a flow works, not just show that it looks good
  • Genuinely strong writer. You can take a paragraph of legal process and turn it into a sentence a human understands
  • You build. You're already using agentic coding tools to ship real frontend work, or you're clearly close to it
  • Comfortable designing inside hard constraints - regulated, compliance-heavy, or otherwise non-negotiable requirements
  • Experience designing for channels beyond the screen (email, voice, messaging) is a strong advantage
  • Opinionated but not precious. We'll ship, watch, and change it
  • Existing legal right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship
